In the wake of Sarah Roberts’ news of her divorce this past weekend, Sam Frost has sent a supportive letter to her former co-star on Home and Away.
When Sarah, 39, revealed in an interview with Stellar magazine that she and her husband James Stewart were divorcing, it took the fans by surprise.
James has not yet spoken out, however on Sunday, Sarah’s friend and former coworker Sam, 35, expressed her opinions via an Instagram Story post.
The Bachelorette star reshared a picture of Sarah appearing in Stellar magazine and commented, “Girl, I’m so proud of your strength and resilience.”
“There is nothing more joyful for me than witnessing you return to your amazing, dazzling self.” I cherish you. PS: I think you look hot,” Sam said, tagging Sarah.
From 2017 until 2022, Sam portrayed Jasmine Delaney on Home and Away, while from 2017 to 2021, Sarah played Willow Harris.
The two grew close on the set of the program and have remained friends even after they both left the series.
It happens after Sarah revealed, after five years, the details of her covert divorce from her former co-star James Stewart on Home and Away.
“I would like to declare that I am no longer married,” she stated to the most recent issue of Stellar magazine.
It’s acceptable for people to grow apart at times… I eventually realized that I couldn’t develop in this specific relationship the way I wanted to.
After becoming engaged in November 2018, Roberts and Stewart, 48, were joined in marriage in 2019.
At the same restaurant where they’d gone on their first date a year before, Stewart put up the question.
In July 2019, the couple exchanged vows at Luttrellstown Castle, which is located outside of Dublin.
Roberts’ admission ends years of rumors that the pair had broken up.
When Stewart failed to show up for the Melbourne premiere of her movie Wog Boys Forever back in October 2022, rumors started to circulate.
He appeared to have stopped following his wife’s Instagram account, as per The Daily Telegraph’s article, and was ‘nowhere to be seen on the red carpet’.
Roberts’ representative denied their breakup at the time.
Later, when Roberts proudly displayed her wedding ring at the AACTA Awards in December of that year, the couple put the rumors to rest.
During an interview with Now To Love, she refuted recurring reports that she and James had broken up.
“We’re content,” she said to the newspaper.
Sarah informed the newspaper Even after her vacation to Italy, Stewart was as charming as ever, picking her up from the airport with a bunch of flowers.
From 2017 to 2021, Roberts starred on Home and Away before leaving the show to concentrate on her film career.
Stewart, who portrays Justin Morgan in the Australian serial opera, is still a sensation.
The actor and his former fiancée, Jessica Marais, met on the set of Packed to the Rafters in 2009, and they have an 11-year-old daughter named Scout.
In October 2010, they declared their engagement, and in May 2012, they welcomed Scout into their family.
The couple ended their romance in 2015, and Stewart subsequently stated, “I think hearts go in different directions eventually,” which is why our relationship didn’t work out.
